Hearts are breaking all over New York (and perhaps the world!) at the rumor that Derek Jeter is secretly engaged to his girlfriend Minka Kelly. Kelly, an actress, supposedly has caught Jeter’s attention to the point where he’s ready to make it official. A source close to the couple says they will get married “in the fall.” (Which, for those of your counting along with us, means the next couple of months.)

Forget pity parties. Alex Rodriguez can’t even throw a genuinely festive bash after the All-Star game and have people show up.
His New York Yankees teammates blew him off as did Madonna (yes, he had the stones to invite her, according to the New York Post via Yahoo!). Mom-Rod was there as well as Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes.
