YouTomb Tracks YouTube Takedowns

Want to see just how much damage copyright trolls are doing on YouTube? YouTomb is an MIT project that tracks videos taken down from YouTube, with emphasis on videos taken down for alleged copyright violations. It captures each video’s metadata and thumbnails, and even graphs pre-takedown views over time.
Note that YouTomb just tracks the videos, it doesn’t repost them. Hope the copyright trolls don’t go after MIT for the thumbnails.
