They Said It: Mike Prochaska

You’ve probably never heard of Mike Prochaska. He’s a minor league baseball player (well, was) for the Montgomery Biscuits. Prochaska was making the final appearance of his career on the mound Monday. In his final appearance, the 28-year-old left-hander unveiled a new pitch. Prochaska threw got the OK from the coaching staff to throw a knuckleball in his career finale.
Prochaska said he used throw the knuckleball back in high school and also said: “The knuckleball was the only way I could get out Josh Hamilton.”
Prochaska isn’t the only pitcher that has struggled to get out Hamilton. …read more
