Round 1 Wrap

All 1’s, 2’s, and 3’s are still alive.  Gus Johnson still has a magnificent voice.  And CBS still stinks at switching to and from games.
Most Exciting Game
I can’t quite remember right now, that cbssportsline feed is off the hook good. However, I do not know if this is weird or normal, but I might have burned myself out these last two days. All the competitive games are running together in my mind as the same.  I will have to go with Siena v. Ohio State just because I remember the two extra sessions pretty well.   They’re fresh in my mind. Conshohocken, Pennsylvania native Ronald …read more

Bozeman Gets Some Redemption By Leading Morgan State to its First Ever NCAA Tourney

What a night it’s been for Morgan State coach Todd Bozeman. Almost wants to make him forget about the past.
Bozeman has been through a lot of crap since becoming the youngest Division I coach to lead a team into the Sweet 16, as he did with California in 1993 at 29.
In 1996 he was fired at California after admitting that he spent $30,000 on travel for two years on two parents so they could see their kid, Jelani Gardner play. The brat later transferred to Pepperdine after he and his gold-digging parents complained about his playing time.
Other violations forced Cal …read more

Fast Breakin’

Haven’t done this in awhile.
So remember, read these and then consider yourself more in the know as a result. Plus, make sure to leave the poor sick monkeys alone, they’ve got more problems than Utah State’s strength of schedule (172).

[Are teams finally realizing how to contain Wake Forest hybrid guard Jeff Teague?]
[I share the frustration of March to Madness on this one. Damn Houston Baptist University]
[ k.u.chebag's doing k.u.chebag kinds of things. March 1st should be a blast]
[ Some interesting notes from A Sea of Blue on Kentucky’s lackluster contest against Vanderbilt on Wednesday,

Greivis Vasquez and the Terps go down

Morgan St. beat Maryland on Wednesday night in College Park. Instead of mentioning the standouts from Morgan State’s side, I’ll focus on Maryland guard Greivis Vasquez. He came into the game averaging 18 ppg, 6 rebounds and almost 5 assists. He exceeded his scoring and rebounding averages with 19 points and 9 boards, but that’s were the good news ends.
5-21 fgs
1-9 3Pt
3 assists
This loss could come back to haunt the Terps on Selection Sunday.
Ever forgotten mosquito repellent when you really needed it?
Yeah, that kind of haunted.
