Running at night keeps you up at night, right? It can, but if you’ve challenged yourself throughout the course of your day, running at night can be very beneficial to you.
The biggest benefit is in weight loss. Running after dark is the best way to burn up all of those extra calories right before you go to bed. As an added bonus, you’re bodies core temperature and heart rate will be descending from a higher level when you go to bed. This gives you a little more burn even when you’re asleep.

Several years ago I asked someone when the best time to lift weights was. They replied “anytime I can get in the gym.” It’s true that when you have a hectic schedule, you’ll take a solid workout when you can get one. However, I think the morning is your best bet for getting the most out of your body. This doesn’t go in line with what I’m reading on the net though. Others think the afternoon is the best time to workout .
