Valentino Rossi Calls a Party

Valentino Rossi decided he would throw a MotoGP party and what better way to do that then with a sportbike race with his friends. Rossi organized an event that occurred on Sunday in Cavallara to raise money and interest for the children’s hospital based in Pesaro Italy that helps kids dealing with leukaemia.
Rossi and Andrea Dovizioso, Marco Lelandri, Julian Simon and a host of other racers got out on the track and raced for the kids, with Dovizioso coming out the winner in the end, after a three race affair. Dovizioso was second in the first two races to 125 …read more

The 2009 MotoGP season is officially over and the riders and teams have learned their lessons and are now preparing for the 2010 MotoGP season. Dani Pedrosa Wins Last Race of Season

Texan Ben Spies started from ninth place on the race grid for Sunday’s Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana on the pavement of Ricardo Tormo Circuit near Valencia, Spain. Racing for Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team in his first MotoGP Premier Class race Ben did an excellent job with a seventh place finish, just ahead of Repsol Honda’s Andrea Dovizioso. His seventh place finish was something he raced for near the end of the race and he obviously wanted to beat Dovizioso and he did. Being a world champion in any sport has its good moments as well as its great moments and newly crowned 125cc MotoGP World Champion Julian Simon found this out as he made his way down the street in his hometown of Villacanas, Spain. Casey Stoner won for the third consecutive campaign and continued his dominance on the track of Phillip Island by beating Valentino to the line by 2 seconds Sunday in the Iveco Australian Grand Prix. Phillip Island down under and the Iveco Australian Grand Prix are next on the calendar for the MotoGP this weekend and Fiat Yamaha and team are sitting pretty and fighting over who is going to be the MotoGP Premier Class World Champion.
