Valentino Rossi decided he would throw a MotoGP party and what better way to do that then with a sportbike race with his friends. Rossi organized an event that occurred on Sunday in Cavallara to raise money and interest for the children’s hospital based in Pesaro Italy that helps kids dealing with leukaemia.

Texan Ben Spies started from ninth place on the race grid for Sunday’s Gran Premio Generali de la Comunitat Valenciana on the pavement of Ricardo Tormo Circuit near Valencia, Spain. Racing for Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team in his first MotoGP Premier Class race Ben did an excellent job with a seventh place finish, just ahead of Repsol Honda’s Andrea Dovizioso.
