So here I shoot and do a preview thing for the final of the cup. Since my new year in business school begins on Monday, I will ape Dean Jones in doing a SWOT analysis.

Looks cool and all. I am expecting a cracker of a match. But then I was expecting Ishant to take 5 every game. My favorites to win this final would be India. Why? Well, cos I am an Indian, and no one wants their team to lose in a final. And also the fact that there exists something known as the law of averages. Would try to cover the match as it happens this time.

P.S. If you are wondering how MS Goni is a potential Murderer, this one is for you. Ankit’s Believe or not!

MS Dhoni and his men in blue thrashed Pakistan by 140 runs in the second ODI of the tri-nation Kitply Cup. This also ended Pakistan’s 12 game winning streak which consisted of 5 games against Bangladesh.

End of winning streak
The amazing fact was that India did not let Pakistan be in top at any moment in the match. Most of the batsmen contributed to India’s score of 320, a massive one considering the fact that the pitch aided spinners. But not so massive too, considering Pakistan went in with 4 seamers. Brains man. Shoaib Malik did not even bowl [...]
Post from: EveryJoe

End of winning streak

The amazing fact was that India did not let Pakistan be in top at any moment in the match. Most of the batsmen contributed to India’s score of 320, a massive one considering the fact that the pitch aided spinners. But not so massive too, considering Pakistan went in with 4 seamers. Brains man. Shoaib Malik did not even bowl himself. Pity. Maybe they are practicing for the final. I am not going to go into the scores and all, you can get it here.

A word of note for Shahid Afridi here. Thanks for reminding us who you are and what kind of responsible innings you always play. Cricinfo said this about his dismissal:

Chawla to Shahid Afridi, OUT, stumped! Afridi telegraphed his intentions as he ran down the track too early and that allowed Piyush to bowl it quicker and outside off. Afridi had also moved outside leg and couldn’t get bat on ball

Too bad he is such a talent. I should have had that talent and I would have made my country win a lot of games. WITH THE BAT!
