I am not surprised receiving news alert about ‘Microsoft Office on iPhone’ from Fortune’s Big Tech by Jon Fortt.
Microsoft had already been working Apple in providing the Office Suite for Mac with Microsoft’s Mac Business Unit (MacBu) which recently launched last January 2008 its Office for Mac 2008.
A team of Microsoft’s Software Engineers examines the released software development kit (SDK) by Apple allowing developers to create applications for both iPhone and iPod Touch.
“It’s really important for us to understand what we can bring to the iPhone,” Tom Gibbons, corporate vice president of Microsoft’s Specialized Devices and Applications Group, told …read more

The code views like this:

Flickr now offers online photo editing after months ago of its initial news release. Flickr partnered with Picnik, an online tool which provides powerful photo editing capabilities. According to Flickr’s blog:
Picnik has been providing online photo editing for a while now. As soon as we saw it, we knew that there was huge potential for us to join together. Rather than Flickr diverting from our speciality to enter a realm we had no (particular) expertise in, the thought of a partnership seemed much more sensible.
The Picnik/Flickr collaboration works similarly to other 3rd party services who’ve built additional tools on …read more
