The NHL Scores on New Twitter Lists

Twitter, the micro-blogging service, recently release a new feature that allows users to create lists to categorize and group the people they follow. One of the really helpful features of the new twitter lists functionality is that you can set the lists to be public or private.
Public lists can be shared with other twitter users and the NHL has taken this functionality and created a very targeted business use for hockey fans. The NHL (@NHL on twitter) has created lists for each of the active NHL teams, as well as some older teams that no longer exist.

Detroit Red Wings Not the Only Winners in Hockey: NHL re-ups with Anheuser Busch

The Detroit Red Wings may have taken home the Stanley Cup but Anheuser-Busch Inc. was the real winner with the National Hockey League this year. The St. Louis based brewery renewed its contract with the NHL to have Bud Light remain the official beer of the NHL for the next three seasons. The deal is rumored to be worth $75 million.
But then, you’re not surprised, right? Bud Light has been the NHL’s official beer since 1998. In addition, Bud Light sponsors 21 of the league’s 24 teams.
