Chalk up another loss for the Chicago Cubs. Tuesday night, the Cubs blew another lead, which allowed the rest of the National League Central to inch closer. Manager Lou Piniella is understandably becoming more and more frustrated with each loss, especially in September. Houston Astros – buyers now?

Am I the only one that thinks the Houston Astros shouldn’t be buyers so close to the trading deadline this season? The club has struggled all season with pitching and inconsistent offense, not to mention they sit 12 and 1/2 games out of first place in the National League Central. Being just one-half game ahead of the Pittsburgh Pirates should let General Manager Ed Wade know that buying is not the right thing to do.
