President and Michelle Obama took time out from their busy diplomatic schedule to meet with Italian President Giorgio Napolitano and his wife Clio.
Although he confessed it was hard to take seriously a head of State who was named after that three-flavored ice cream and who had a wife named after an advertising award, Obama extended traditional American courtesy and offered to include the Italian President and First Lady in a TV commercial that will air later this year.

Janet Napolitano is not having a good month.
That wouldn’t be a problem if she was Secretary of the Interior, but Ms. Napolitano is Head of Homeland Security.
