Netbooks or Archos 9?

I am happy with my Lenovo S10 as with other netbooks, it is light, small and can be carried anywhere. Looking at how I have used my netbook, I am currently thinking why not sell it and buy myself an Archos 9 instead?

It is still difficult to have a keyboard even if its small sit on your lap while you try to be productive. In most cases, I wish it was a touch screen and I’d type whatever I wanted on it. Ok, there is a device called iPhone, but I have tried it a number of times and I …read more

Future of Netbooks

I bought my Lenovo S10 back in November, overall I am happy, but with on gripe – keyboard. If only they made the keyboard much bigger, I would be a totally satisfied customer. Anyways, the pace which netbooks move mean we are going to see far better netbook specs in the near future.

That then do you want from the next generation of netbooks?
1. Better Keyboard size – I don’t want a bigger netbook, I just want a bigger and better keyboard.
2. Touch screen – Everything is going touch screen now, and I can’t wait for a touch screen netbook.
3. …read more

Asus Air

Rumors are circulating that Asus is almost ready with their own version of Apple’s MacBook Air netbook. Their own laptop would also feature a very thin computer  similar to the Air with 10” or less in screen size – the size category of netbooks as defined by Intel.

There is an ongoing explosion of netbooks and a thin version is going to be welcomed by consumers which should make Apple seriously consider creating their own netbooks lineup.

iPod Touch HD

Everyone is talking about an Apple netbook and a number of people said it wouldn’t happen because Apple is supposed to start new markets and not as a catch-up manufacturer. Nonetheless, Apple is in a situation that needs to follow suit otherwise the explosion of netbooks could live them dry.
