Today’s lackluster buzz is all about the new HP TouchSmart Touch-Screen PC, but much of the buzz is actually skeptical based on former incarnations of the touch screen PC by HP.  Those in-the-know are saying the new HP Touch Screen PC is actually very good, but still, a cloud of pessimism and “so what?” is threatening to burst HP’s PR bubble.
The question being asked is this …
What if Apple had released this Touch-Screen PC?  Would the buzz be as big or bigger than the touch-screen iPhone buzz we’ve all been wrapped up in for the past year?

Just when Research In Motion (RIM) gets a chance to one-up Apple with the new BlackBerry Bold, Apple announces it’s out of iPhones, fueling rumors that an upgraded iPhone is ready for launch – possibly as soon as June 9th if rumors are accurate.
Not that BlackBerry Bold would have stolen much market share from Apple anyway, or vice versa.  BlackBerry is the business brand, and Apple is the retail brand.  The iPhone brought more retail users to the smartphone category, but businesses still prefer the BlackBerry.

In another attempt to extend their brand, Coca-Cola (NYSE: KO) is planning to release a new product called Sprite Super Chilled in the U.K. in early 2008 (according to The BrandWiki and Marketing Week).  Apparently, the innovative new packaging actually creates ice upon opening.
