The President of USA Today announced his retirement on Tuesday of last week and the news was promptly splashed across a special weekend edition of the national paper along with the rest of the stories which are traditionally reported two days after most Internet news outlets.

The Denver Post is now the only major newspaper in Colorado after the Rocky Mountain News today published its final print edition. The paper has been a fixture of the Mile High City since it was founded in 1849.
So, starting tomorrow you won’t be able to buy the Rocky Mountain News but you’ll still be able to buy Rocky Mountain oysters.*.
