Are you a Monday Morning Quarterback? You know the type. The guys all reliving their glory days on the high school team talking about how they would have run a different play or thrown the ball better to get that touchdown for the win.
Being the Monday Morning Quarterback is so passé. Now it’s cooler to be in the media spotlight and talk about the game and call the shots. What were your favorite plays? Who earned their right this week to capture the glory of the gridiron?

But this is the way it is, and Iverson isn’t the player he used to be. Somehow, his selfishness and ego have …read more

Michael Crabtree Makes Demands

This past draft, Michael Crabtree of Texas Tech dropped to tenth, and the San Francisco 49ers thought they were getting the deal of a lifetime. Many speculated that he should have gone much higher, at least at number seven. Instead, the Oakland Raiders choose wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey with their seventh pick, surprising everyone. Al Davis is known for his random, weird decisions, though, so I guess none of us were too surprised.
Now, the 49ers kind of wish they would have passed on Crabtree as well. The rookie, who hasn’t even played in an NFL game yet, is demanding a …read more

It’s usually the players you worry about getting hurt in the NFL, but this past weekend it was one of the Dallas Cowboys assistants who sustained injuries. Rich Behm suffered a fractured vertebrae which ultimately severed his spinal cord after being hit by a metal frame. The frame held up a covering over the practice field, and a severe thunderstorm blew through and injured three Cowboy’s staff members.
Another staff member had a fractured cervical vertebra while a third had two broken bones in his leg.
