David Garrard – QB draw beats Steelers

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
David Garrard on 32 yard keeper
What a game to wear you down. It looked to all the world that the Jaguars had the game in hand and then Pittsburgh comes storming back in the fourth quarter to take the lead.
Big Ben struggled for Pittsburgh in the first half and Jacksonville took over the game.
In the second half, it was problems for David Garrard, the no turnover QB had 2 interceptions in the game and seemingly could not complete a pass to save his life.
Garrard aided the Steelers’ comeback by throwing …read more

Brett Favre to Greg Jennings 82 yards to victory

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Brett Favre only needs one play!
Brett Favre is amazing.
One play is all it took. For those of you that could not stay up to see the Packers beat Denver in overtime 19 – 13, you can watch OT quickly on Sportscenter. It only took on Brett Favre bomb!
Brett reared back and threw the ball 82 yards to Greg Jennings, from Western Michigan in the MAC, for the game winning touchdown keeping the Green Bay dream season alive!
Greg was covered by Dre’ Bly, formerly of my Lions. Dre’ …read more

Vick, Culpepper, Quinn, Favre, Marbury – Part II – which one does not fit?

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
If you missed part 1, you can catch it at Vick, Culpepper, Quinn, Favre, Marbury – Part I – which one does not fit?
Stephon Marbury has backed off
Let’s move to that 3 ring circus called Oakland, where we find the search for the Quarterback feverishly going on.
We all know that JaMarcus Russell is going to start at quarterback, right?
Oops, Oakland forgot to get his signature on a contract.
Lane Kiffen from USC is the new coach and his old boss, Pete Carroll, is not too happy.
“This is not helping the kid’s …read more

Vick, Culpepper, Quinn, Favre, Marbury – Part I – which one does not fit?

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Brett says, “Have you heard? We have a defense!”
It’s a tale of 5 quarterbacks.
Michael Vick pleaded guilty in court and suddenly he was all sorry and felt dog fighting was so terrible. Come on.
The plea was accepted by Hudson, who asked: “Are you entering the plea of guilty to a conspiracy charge because you are in fact guilty?”
Vick answered yes, and Hudson emphasized his broad latitude in sentencing.
“You’re taking your chances here. You’ll have to live with whatever decision I make,” he said.
U.S. Attorney Chuck Rosenberg said a …read more

Michael Vick – Dog tattered trading cards, t-shirts, and more!

Some people see a problem and others see an opportunity and why not let out your outrage at the same time.
It appears that NFL trading cards of Michael Vick that were chewed on by dogs are selling on E-bay for more than his rookie cards.
This is most excellent!

Michael Vick goes bye bye

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Michael Vick is off to court
The wheeling, the dealing, the backroom negotiations all came to a head on Friday as Michael Vick was very careful not to cop a plea for gambling.
Oh, Michael admitted to conspiracy to kill the dogs that were not up to snuff and Michael agreed that he bankrolled the operation for the Bad Newz Kennels to run the dog fighting operation, but he did not admit to gambling.
You should not be surprised that for the price of his very high priced lawyers, Michael was trading some …read more

Michael Vick gambled his future, Johnny Dep says savvy – Go Joey?

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Johnny Depp says “They are more like guidelines, savvy?”
Well, the supposed secret is out and it looks like Michael Vick will be suspended for the year.
Oddly enough, it appears that there is a way out of the suspension, since it will be Michael’s first offense.
Commissioner Goodell is way serious at this point, making it clear that Michael will not be allowed to return during the year.
Pacman has a 1 year suspension with the Titans, but if he can clear his name will be allowed an early return. No such …read more

Michael Vick – is he really human after all?

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Michael Vick just may be a nice guy? Huh?
We are all so quick to jump on the Michael Vick is a Monster bandwagon. It is just too easy. After all the guy took dogs, man’s best friend, but evidentially not Michael’s best friend, and he outright killed them by torturous means.
Yeah, it is all too easy.
We live in a crazy world that just seems to get crazier by the day. There is way too much news in the world and 99 percent of it is bad. …read more

Devin Hester gives the Bears the fastest receivers known to mankind

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Chasing Devin Hester is futile

You have Hester lining up on one side with speed to burn and Bernard Berrian lining up on the other side with speed to burn. Should you double Hester? Won’t that leave Berrian one on one?
Does this mean the Bears might stand for something more than just run crushing pass stopping defense?
The Bears are experimenting with Devin Hester at wide receiver and so far, without pads, Devin is looking awful fast and

Michael Vick – in the dog days of summer, he may plea bargain

NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Michael is hurting

The talk had already begun. Vick will get off, because he is rich.
The moaning increased. It seems to be the attitude of all time that the rich can walk off scott free.
Well, it may not be that simple after all. True, Michael will have a high powered legal defense team including Washington D.C. attorney Billy Martin. No, not that Billy Martin. This Billy Martin would be All Pro if Lawyers had such a thing.
Maybe they do. It is called high fees.
