Wow.  Canadian band Nickelback has been named the group of the decade by Billboard magazine.  What the heck?  I know they’ve done well for themselves but it just surprises me.  I live in Alberta now and it’s amazing to me to think that they came from the small town of Hanna here and have gone on to have such huge success.

Their song “How You Remind Me” was chosen as the top rock song of the decade and it also placed #4 on the Top 10 songs of this decade.  I can see that.  I really love that song.  I still …read more

Canadian rock group, Nickelback, compiled footage from a concert where they performed for 35,000 scream fans at the world-famous Sturgis “Rockin’ the Rally” show.
The show Live at Sturgis 2006 was originally released on DVD earlier this year but is now available on Blu-ray for the first time and I know that their fans are going to want to pick up a copy.
The explosive show (just look at those flames on the cover!) was filmed using 15 high-definition cameras to capture the band performing songs for their albums Silver Side Up, The Long Road and All the Right Reasons.
