This woman doesn’t let up and just keeps pounding away at you until you submit or give up.

And apparently people like that in a gal [or at least a fitness coach] since her first Wii title has sold over 600k games and she’s following those whopping sales with the release of Fitness Ultimatum 2010 [for Wii] and Pocket Trainer 2010 [for DS].

Fitness Ultimate is a boot camp style workout that utilizes the Wii Remote and Wii Balance Board. They’ve also added a “Exercise with Jillian” feature that allows “players one-on-one time with a 3D avatar of Jillian Michaels that demonstrates pre-made or custom routines”.

Pocket Trainer 2010 has two different modes: “Jillian’s Training” and “My Training”.

Jillian’s Training has pre-made exercises while My Training allows players to customize the work-outs how they want them.

The Wii version will release October 6th and the DS version will hit October 20th.

Jillian Michaels’ Fitness Ultimatum 2010

The game is set to release the 19th of September and promises to be happy, happy, happy.

In the game, you’ll be able to send out invitations to all of Hello Kitty’s friends, make dresses with all of the included sewing and ironing.

Of course you’ll have to shop and cook for the party and before you know it, it’s party time!

There are over 25 mini games so you’re bound to stay in Hello Kitty party fun for hours and hours.

Happy Party with Hello Kitty

Okami was one of my favorite PS2 games and I almost teared up when I traded it in for another game. No. Really. I almost cried.

The game was absolutely stunning. The storyline was good and there was actually some replay value to it.

Ever since I bought my PS3, I’ve held out hope that the next Okami would be for the PS3.

Sadly, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Destructoid is reporting that the next Okami game – Okamiden: Chiisaki Taiyo – will be coming to the Nintendo DS and since I don’t own a DS, I suppose that I will just have to drool over gameplay footage and screenshots.

I have to agree with Hamza CTZ Aziz that the DS is the perfect platform for the gameplay of Okami and like him, I’m impressed with the screenshot since it looks like the rendering is pretty solid.

Maybe I’ll ask for a DS for Christmas.

Okamiden New Okami Game for DS

Some that stood for me include Deal or No Deal, LEGO Batman, M&M’s Kart Racing, Big Brain Academy, LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga, Crossword and Brain Age 2

Games like Brain Age 2 and Crossword are always good to have since you can play them over and over and test your mind.  I have to also say that I really love the LEGO series of games and I highly recommend picking up a copy of LEGO Batman, the Star Wars saga or LEGO: Indiana Jones (not pictured).  It’s absolutely silliness and there are LEGO pieces everywhere but that’s the whole point!  Besides, in these tough times, it’s great to be able to pick up a game for less than $20!

Great DS Games for Under $20

Players will be able to choose from a variety of games including Chess, Mahjong, Sudoku, Backgammon, Texas Hold Em Poker, Solitaire and more.  I think it’s also perfect for saving space since, if one person grows tired, someone else is bound to find something on the disc to pass the time – plus, you can compete against family and friends.

Don’t know how to play any of those “old school” games?  No problem?  There are step-by-step instructions included!  It’s embarrassing to admit but I don’t know how to play Chess.  All three of my kids can and we have this awesome glass kit but I’ve never even tried.  Maybe I’ll have better luck with the electronic version.

“50 Classic Games” for Nintendo DS

In the game, the Mushroom Kingdom is in danger once again (I’m starting to think that place needs to just be locked down) but this time it’s because of a mysterious plague called “the blorbs.”  The virus is taking over which seems to affect the Toads the most (they expand and roll all over the place).  Of course, the Mario brothers are called in to save the day when, predictably, Bowser shows up and tries to kidnap Princess Peach but Mario stops the abduction.

I have no idea how it goes from that to what ends up happening but the next time we see Bowser, he’s in some mystic forest (he doesn’t know how he got there either) where he actually accepts a “lucky mushroom” from a stranger.  Wow.  Naturally, this mushroom gives him all sorts of powers and makes him even more scary than he already is.  The bad guy ends up being Fawful (if you’ve played the earlier games in the series, you’ll be familiar with this particular foe) and he manages to trick Bowser into swallowing all the Mushroom Kingdon council members, allowing Fawful to take over Mushroom Castle.

Bowser must then work with Mario and Luigi (who have been swallowed by him so I’m guessing that’s the reason why this is called “Bowser’s Inside Story” – ewwww!) to restore the Mushroom Kingdom.  Here’s a quick trailer:

Overlord Minions for the DS

There is a lot of extra space for you to store games, an AC adapter and other essential accessories. It also provides several different carrying options.

It’s perfect for summer road trips!  I know that one thing that always irritates me is digging around in my bags to find my games (or losing them!) and/or my power cord.  This could make traveling a lot easier!

I ♥ Geeks!

Starfy is sleeping comfortably in his bed when out out the sky, an astronaut suit-wearing rabbit named Bunston falls through his roof and wakes him up.

As if that wasn’t enough, Bunston’s unorthodox arrival at Pufftop Palace sets off a chain of events and Starfy finds himself using his spin attack to free Bunston from the Dire Pirate Squad.

Starfy soon learns that his new bunny-eared friend has lost his memory and he embarks on a journey to help Bunston figure out who he is and where he belongs.

Fortunately, Starfy doesn’t have to face the dangers that lie ahead alone  he’s got the help of his kid sister, Starly, who might be younger but has skills that her big brother doesn’t.  He’s also got his best friend, Moe, who always tags along, despite regularly trying to discourage Starfy from engaging in his wild adventures.

Believe it or not, this little star has shape-shifting abilities and can transform into any of four characters, each possessing their own special powers.  As Roostar, he can cripple his enemy with his deafening crow.  The Starfright suit allows him to leave fiery droppings.  Starpedo comes in handy since it can navigate through waters with speed and ease and Monstar can make the bad guys cower with his scorching fire balls.
