2009 Nissan Altima Hybrid

North American automakers have promised that by 2040 all cars sold on this continent will be fully electric vehicles. If that sounds like a far way off for most people, that’s because it is. The report is meerly a ploy to demonstrate to consumers that they are working on our gas shortage/price problem and that things will get better latter on.

The Nissan Altima Hybrid has been somewhat of a dark horse. Only available in 8 states, and in close competition with the widely available Toyota Camry Hybrid, the NAH is quickly becoming a “cult car”. Interestingly enough, most owners seem to stumble into this purchase, and then find they’re enjoying a comfortable ride while attaining impressive gas mileage.
