Review: Noby Noby Boy is more toy than game…and really strange

The PlayStation Network is full of all sorts of weired, experimental games, but Noby Noby Boy tops them all. There are no specific goals, instead the game provides you with a quirky playground in to cause mischief in. And while it certainly is an acquired taste, for $5, it’s worth a download.

Well it’s finally Friday, which means most of us have plenty of gaming ahead of us this weekend. Me, I’m planning on spending some more time with the intriguing Noby Noby Boy, and maybe even giving the new Burnout Paradise cars a while. What’s everyone else playing this weekend.

Sony has expanded, and will now be operating in Latin America for the first time.
The company also confirmed that both God of War III and MAG will be hitting the PS3 sometime this year.

Well, to day is a pretty great day when it comes to new game info, as we now have news about LittleBigPlanet DLC, Puzzle Quest Galactrix, and Noby Noby Boy, all things that I’m really looking forward to. Check out the headlines for more information:

LittleBigPlanet is finally getting more DLC starting at the end of the month, with a whole pile of adorable new costumes.

It may be a bit disappointing that the next Metal Gear game will be hitting the iPhone instead of the PS3, but hey, at least we get a little MGS in our LittleBigPlanet. In the meantime, check out the latest PlayStation headlines, which cover a few interesting upcoming games.

After learning about the first level pack for LittleBigPlanet yesterday, which was Christmas themed, a new Metal Gear Solid 4 pack has been revealed. SnakeBoy!
Though Sony continues to deny it, an unnamed publisher has said that the next iteration of the PSP is definitely in the works.

It’s Monday, and it’s almost time to take some time off for the holidays. But in the mean time, there is plenty of interesting gaming news today, especially if for fans of PSN games.

The Spike Video Game Awards were this weekend, and Media Molecule won studio of the year and PS3 game of the year for LittleBigPlanet.
Also at the VGAs, God of War III and Uncharted 2 both debuted brand new trailers.
It looks like Space Invaders Extreme is coming to the PlayStation Network, though we don’t know when.
