Oasis Has Officially Split

If you’ve followed the careers of brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher you won’t be surprised by this bit of news but Noel has left their band, Oasis, after a nasty backstage brawl with his brother in Paris this past Friday.
The following statement then appeared on the band’s website: “to all the people who bought tickets for the shows in Paris, Konstanz and Milan. It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight … I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.”

Oasis May Wait Five Years For Next Album

If you love British band, Oasis, you might be waiting a long time before you hear any new music. Noel Gallagher revealed in an interview with Q that, after the band finishes the tour for their current album, Dig Out Your Soul, he may focus on releasing a solo album. Apparently, the singer has stockpiled songs since 2000. “I’ve got a lot of songs lying around and some of them are really great,” says Gallagher. “But they’re not Oasis songs. When Ricky Hatton steps into the ring on Saturday against Juan Lazcano he will be fulfilling his lifelong dream of competing on his beloved Manchester City FC’s home pitch. Hatton’s love for all things Citeh has been well documented.
