The 2010 Honda Odyssey might just be the ultimate family vehicle of the year. It has all of the comforts you would expect on a luxury minivan and with seven seats it’s perfect for any growing family. The Odyssey is marketed for the families who like to drive SUV’s but who need a minivan to accommodate their family. Because of this the Odyssey is larger than other minivans in it’s class. The hefty build is countered by ingenious engineering you would expect from Honda.

2010 Honda Odyssey

Although revered as a suburban vehicle and loathed by young parents (myself included) it’s hard to dispute the practicality of minivan. And the Odyssey is the ultimate in minivan multi-use. The rear cargo area provides plenty of space to store camping gear for the whole family. You can even extend the cargo area by retracting the rear folding seats for seemingly unlimited space (Costco here I come!). The mid row seats can also be easily removed but need to be stored away in the garage.

The powerplant on the 2010 Odyssey include the available 3.5L V6 255 hp engine that has the ability to disable some of the cylinders to conserve fuel during certain driving conditions. The V^ provides plenty of power when needed but don’t go thinking this is a sports car, the Odyssey drives more like a truck. It’s size does have its drawback though. The van can only get 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg out on the highway. Not terrible numbers, but it won’t earn you green points either.

Also keep in mind that the 2010 Honda Odyssey will be the last year for its generation. The new fourth generation 2011 Odyssey will be completely different in design and features. The starting price for the Odyssey is a pricey $26,805 with the Touring model topping $40,000. Although highly priced for it’s class, the Odyssey makes it up by having a very high resale value.

I’m currently watching a video on the history of video games by YouTube user applemctom, and my wife, Joyce, keeps asking me why I know majority of the games featured in the video. I guess my video games addiction is finally showing, eh? To test my mettle, I tried to list down in order all the games shown in the two-minute footage. Unfortunately, I didn’t get them all. Before I show my list (rather, before you take a look at it), watch the video and try listing down in order all the games that you see. Let’s compare notes later.

Well, here’s my list:

They don’t make them like this anymore…
I’m amazed at how text-heavy some of them are… It’s not like now where you get a pretty picture that will never be in the game, they were far more representative of the product that was being sold… And you could read a bunch of marketing flimflam too!
