Microsoft Replaces Works with Office 2010 Starter Edition

I was working on someone’s computer recently and came across Microsoft Works installed. I hadn’t seen it for awhile and honestly had forgotten it was still getting installed on systems from original equipment manufacturers (OEM).

The new version of the Office productivity suite will be available soon, although no final release date is yet available. When the new version is available versions of the suite will be replacing the Microsoft Works productivity applications that have been installed on people’s machines for years.
