Subaru and the Potato Plant

I’m a sometimes reader of the New York Times, so I was struck when I saw Thomas Friedman’s Lexus and the Olive Tree in the library. The beauty of a library is that I can pick a book up, thumb through it, bring it home, and, if I don’t like it, not read it with absolutely no guilt feelings at all.
