“A Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) study revealed that the United States has the potential to collect at least $8.7 billion and up to $17.6 billion in the next 10 years if it would tax and regulate online gambling, including poker. And those figures don’t include potential sports wagers.”

That stat doesn’t even include most of the U.S. states: that estimate is from just the states who already allow land-based gambling.

I imagine we could use the money, huh? Free money? Maybe they could peel back a couple of those other little taxes? Not to mention the fact that if online gambling were legalized there would probably be even more people playing?
