Celtics Beat Bulls in Game 7 to Advance

The Boston Celtics and the Chicago Bulls faced off in what was arguably the best playoffs series in NBA history. With four of the first six game heading to overtime and the series tied 3-3 heading into Game 7, the defending champion Celtics were able to use their experience to beat the Bulls by a final score of 109-99.

When all was said and done, with all the other competitors quickly becoming also-rans with very full stomachs, it was mano e mano as two rivals locked in for battle one more time.
Oh yes, it was a hot-dog eating duel for the ages as Joey Chestnut and Takeru Kobayashi stuffed their faces full of Nathan’s weiners—hey, we had to sneak in a juvenile hot dog joke phrase here somewhere, OK?—for 5 minutes after the initial tie in the annual Coney Island contest. Chestnut won and grabbed the #1 ranking.
