WWE has released a slew of wrestlers this afternoon. Here is a breakdown of who was released:

Tatanka – Perhaps the biggest name who was released, Tatanka has been on SmackDown recently engaging in several feuds. He has been wrestling in the WWE since the early 1990s.
Sylvester Terkay – A former MMA fighter Terkay had a significant run with WWE with his last stint in the ECW.
Tony Mamaluke – Tony Mamaluke was on part of the Full Blooded Italians. Mamaluke appeared in both the original and the resurrected ECW.

Gred Groothius (OVW)

Okay maybe it is just me and my ‘lack’ of wisdom but is CM Punk worthy of a DVD already. He has only been on ECW since its revival a few months ago and has never appeared on either of the other two shows. Does this seem a little rushed or am I just missing something?
