Starbucks Furthers Partnership with Rwanda

Starbucks has had a major presence in the East African country of Rwanda in recent years. On Saturday, Howard Schultz, the CEO of Starbucks, went to Rwanda to talk about how the coffee company will participate in the Starbucks Farmer Support Center grand opening.
The support center will help farmers improve the quality of the coffee that they grow by bettering their practices. In the country of Costa Rica, Starbucks has a similar support center and the company says that the result has been an increase in coffee quality produced and a decrease in the amount of pesticides used.
