Recession Now Official

SO, we can finally “officially” say that we are in a recession. The National Bureau of Economic Research just reported that the U.S. has been in a recession since December 2007. So, many of us have believed it — despite strident denials by certain people in charge — and it is true.
So, while we haven’t seen two quaters of decline in economic activity, we’re still in a recession. CNN Money reports on how NBER decides what constitutes a recession:
