On DVD: “The Girls Next Door”

The fourth season of E! cable television network’s The Girls Next Door was released on DVD last month.
The show follows the lives of Playboy editor-in-chief (and show creator), Hugh Hefner, and his three girlfriends, Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson. The show is great because it gives you a behind-the-scenes look at some of the big events that take place at the Playboy Mansion, Playboy test shoots and then private functions like birthday parties. It’s really interesting to see what it’s like to live there!

Mark your calendars for June 27th! That’s the day that Kendra Wilkinson (one of the famous blond Girls Next Door) will marry her NFL star and fiancé Hank Bassett.
Kendra tells People that “I’m just really excited to be his wifey and he’s excited to be my hubby – that’s just the way it is.”

Teddy Atlas at the Playboy Mansion

Don’t get me wrong, it was great seeing a world-class fighter like lightweight Julio Diaz on free TV. Thank you ESPN2 and Wednesday Night Fights. His clinical dismantling of previously undefeated and evidently stone-footed David Torres, however, didn’t make for exciting TV. The fight’s venue…that’s another story.
For the fifth year in a row ESPN2 filmed a boxing card at Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Mansion and there was plenty of beautiful sights to see in between rows. The ESPN announcing team of Joe Tessitore and Teddy Atlas even commented on the many requests they had for press credentials.
