Gisele Bundchen has refuted claims that she and Tom Brady are engaged.

She tells one source that it is absolutely positively not true.

But what if she just changed her mind? What if she came to her senses and realized that if a guy is going to leave his girlfriend when he finds out she’s pregnant, that he’s probably a bum!

You think?

Nah… me neither. I doubt Gisele worries about men leaving her… pregnant or not. Still…. a sports blogger can hope….

Gisele Bundchen Says “No Ring”

There are great fans, overzealous fans, and occasionally, STUPID fans. This story falls into the last two categories.

Apparently a pair of Arizona Cardinalsfans “used diesel fuel to burn the words “Go Cards,” “Go Kurt” and “I (heart symbol) AZ” on Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Donovan McNabb’s lawn.

The Cardinals are going to the Superbowl, while the Eagles are not. That should be enough satisfaction for a Cardinals fan.

Not only that, but the two fans also had left a cardboard box with a sign that said, “Go Cards” and “Beat Philly.” As if that wasn’t enough they also planted a Cardinals flag in a tree outside McNabb’s home.

Can you just see these two? Giggling after each lame stunt, like… “What should we do NEXT?”

Get this, not only are the fans stupid for taking their enthusiasm too far, they also left their name and address on the cardboard box left on the lawn.

STUPID.

Just be glad Arizona is in the Superbowl, Cardinals fans! No need to get crazy and start burning up people’s lawns! Honestly….

Cards Fans Burn Message Into Donovan McNabb’s Lawn

Here’s a super shocking revelation: Kendra Wilkinson (one of the three “Girls Next Door” who pretended to sleep with super old Hugh Hefner) says she would sneak out of the Playboy mansion every once in a blue moon in order to have sex.

What? Isn’t the Playboy mansion KNOWN for sexual exploits here and there and everywhere? I knew something was wrong with three chicks sleeping with a guy old enough to be their great-great-great grandfather. And now I see what it is! (She said snarkily…)

Kendra is now dating Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Hank Baskett, but will go back to THE MANSION this summer in order to get married. Must Hef be a part of everything? First he pretends to have sex with women and now he’s going to pretend to be happy for Kendra? When is it enough???

I wonder what Hank thinks about her NOT sleeping with her ex? Hmmmmmm……

Kendra Wilkinson Cheated on Hef

In case you haven’t heard, the Pittsburgh Steelers are in the playoffs. The whole town is getting behind them, including their mayor, Luke Ravenstahl.

Notice the team name tucked into the mayors name? The “Ravens.”

Yah, well guess who the Steelers play this Saturday? Yep – the RAVENS. The mayor, true blue Steeler fan that he is, felt that having a last name that mentioned the opponent was NO GOOD. So he’s asked to be called “Mr. Steelerstahl” for the duration of the week.

He said, “On behalf of the Steelers Nation, I’ve decided to remove the word ‘Ravens’ from my name just like the Steelers will remove them from the AFC Championship.”

Ouch! Smackdown!

My question is, why doesn’t he keep the name even AFTER the game this weekend? That’s what a true fan would do!

Winner of 80 Percent Luck

Congrats to Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady! They are engaged, and planning a spring wedding.

I’m happy if they are happy. I mean, so what if he left the woman who was pregnant with his son in order to be with Gisele. Right?

So what if he was a total scoundrel by getting involved with Gisele before he broke up with Bridget Moynahan.

Right?

No! No, NOT right. Men who do such things should suffer (at least for a while!). NOT take up with super-hot models before the ink on the pregnancy test of their former/present girlfriend is even dry.

Anywho, Tom popped the question with a “diamond solitaire” according to People. I’m sure Bridget was thrilled for them. I’m sure Bridget and Tom’s son was thrilled (of course he’s just a toddler, and aren’t they always thrilled? Lucky little buggers that they are.)

I’m sure Leo DiCaprio is thrilled, since he and Gisele had an on again/off again thing that lasted years.

Everyone’s thrilled! Okay? (And I might be too…. give me time….)

Marion Barber from the Cowboys has a dislocated pinkie toe and a sore calf, but Jerry Jones thinks he still should have played.

This is the Jerry Jones who thinks he’s a coach… and now obviously a doctor, too. Talented guy that Jerry Jones is!

Jones mouths off to one source, “He can play with the soreness and a combination of those things. I see nothing that led us to believe he couldn’t.”

Of course not, Jerry. That’s because you sit in the booth and watch the game from the comfort of your corporate box.

There’s something really super icky about an owner or general manager who makes his way onto the field and comments about things that should only come from the coach. Of course, if Jerry Jones was to actually coach himself, he’d have no one else to blame when the team played like crap.

Jerry Jones Thinks Marion Barber is a Weenee

Former Baywatch gal Gena Lee Nolin and her NHL hockey playin’ hubby Cale Hulse just welcomed a baby girl this week.

According to People they named her Stella Monroe Hulse.

Gena was Neely Capshaw on Baywatch for anyone that has been living under a rock. She hasn’t done a lot of acting since, but I imagine being a mommy keeps her busy!

Former Baywatch Babe Has a Babe of Her Own

Ted Thompson has finally done with Derrick Frost what he couldn’t bring himself to do with Brett Favre. That is: Admit he made a mistake.

Thompson is known for constantly wanting to rebuild whatever team he’s trying to manage, and has consistently let go of players right and left since joining the Packers. The most infamous, of course, was Brett Favre.

But he’s also let go of the Packers‘ leading sacker last month, and a very good punter at the start of the season in place of a TERRIBLE PUNTER. Thompson gave Jon Ryan (a perfectly lovely punter) the boot (pun intended) and replaced him with Derrick Frost, who by all accounts is possibly the worst punter ever to play in the NFL.

There was, of course, nothing wrong with Jon Ryan. In fact, he made a key play in the preseason. But no, Teddy loves to shake things up, and when a players gets nice and experienced he likes to cut them regardless of how they are doing. So he replaced Jon Ryan with the awful Derrick Frost, and now that the Packers are just about out of the playoffs, he’s decided to get rid of him.

That Ted!

Packernews.com says, “Thompson and coach Mike McCarthy signed Frost the week before the regular-season opener because they thought Ryan, though unusually strong legged, was too inconsistent placing his punts, and perhaps a little too slow getting them off. They rated the weaker-legged Frost a significant upgrade in those areas.”

Well hey, I’m no general manager, but a weaker legged kicker usually does worse than an “unusually strong legged” one. It only took Thompson twelve games to realize that. How many more to realize that giving Brett Favre the boot was a mistake?
