Working with Dual-Monitors Is a Must

I don’t really have an office that I work from on a daily basis. I’m normally either working onsite with a client most of the time, or if I’m not onsite I usually prefer to work from my local independent coffee shop or Starbucks if I need an office that’s "open late".

Zune Landing on November 14th

The latest news on the Zune is that it should be available for purchase on November 14th. Here’s some more information that was available on Engadget:
a trusted source has given us a little more to go by on the hardware end, including a few specs we more or less expected or heard, such as that the Zune should have a 30GB drive, black, brown, and cotton color options, FM tuner, 13 first party accerrories available at launch (and who knows how many 3rd party accessories), and a 50% larger screen than the iPod with video (making it 3.75-inches if you’re …read more

If you didn’t catch it already, in my absence my fearless tech channel editor Jon Watson, published a post about Microsoft’s “iPod killer”.
After visiting the site he referenced, www.comingzune.com, all I have to say is “What the heck is that?”
What is “Zune”? I’ve subscribed to their newsletter so maybe I’ll find out. If I had to go by the little animation/movie thingy, I wouldn’t know what to expect. Why not play more off the Xbox 360 popularity and come up with some other name/brand? I mean if you’re really going to label yourself an “iPod killer”, why not do something …read more
