Shaq Pays for Being a Prankster

When I first read this story, I thought, who has the balls to mess with Shaq? If you’re going to be a prankster, eventually you will get the favor returned to you. Even someone who is 7′1″, 325 pounds.
Here’s what happened. Lou Amundson (Suns forward, newbie basketball guy, and tree hugger) likes to ride his bike to work every day. When he comes out of practice, however, the bike is usually gone. It gets moved to different areas of the stadium, courtesy of Shaq. After this little joke happening several times over, Amundson thought …read more

Gisele Bundchen has refuted claims that she and Tom Brady are engaged.
She tells one source that it is absolutely positively not true.
But what if she just changed her mind? What if she came to her senses and realized that if a guy is going to leave his girlfriend when he finds out she’s pregnant, that he’s probably a bum!
You think?
Nah… me neither. I doubt Gisele worries about men leaving her… pregnant or not. Still…. a sports blogger can hope….

There are great fans, overzealous fans, and occasionally, STUPID fans. This story falls into the last two categories.
Apparently a pair of Arizona Cardinalsfans “used diesel fuel to burn the words “Go Cards,” “Go Kurt” and “I (heart symbol) AZ” on Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Donovan McNabb’s lawn.
The Cardinals are going to the Superbowl, while the Eagles are not. That should be enough satisfaction for a Cardinals fan.
Not only that, but the two fans also had left a cardboard box with a sign that said, “Go Cards” and “Beat Philly.” As if that …read more

When someone new joins your workplace, you generally give them a nice welcome. Maybe a plant. Perhaps a card. At the very least you should take them out to lunch.
But the Sacramento Kings apparently didn’t read the book on “How to Treat a New Employee” because they insisted that Jason Thompson bring bagels and cream cheese to practice. When he didn’t, they gave him a lesson he will never forget: They put popcorn in his car.
Lots and lots of popcorn. Check out this video:
My first thought upon seeing this was …read more

Oh those crazy Giants. They’re having such a great year that they are playing pranks on each other right and left. The mood is happy in the locker room these days.
But sometimes, being too happy gets boring, apparently. The guys must have decided that playing pranks on each other just wasn’t good enough. They decided to step it up a notch and play a joke on one of the player’s wives.
So if you were trying to decide which player’s wife you could prank, which one would you choose? Hmmmm…… how about…. …read more
Campus Police Officers in Kentucky Can’t Take a Joke

Did Kentucky become a crankypants state because in the NCAA Tournament, Kentucky didn’t make it past the first round, Western Kentucky fell in the Sweet Sixteen, and Louisville dropped in the Elite Eight?
Could be. How else to explain the drastic charges following Jeff Ehrhardt’s prank? The 20-year-old sophomore and Murray State quarterback pushed a campus police officer and took his ticket book . . . and was arrested and charged with second-degree robbery.
The charge has draconian potential: It *could* theoretically result in a prison term of up to 10 years. (Though as The Bee pointed out, the judge is likely to giggle while slamming down the gavel …read more
