I am horrible at Guitar Hero. Horrible. Easy setting kicks my ass.
But, with the announcement of the addition of Johnny Cash and Ring of Fire to Guitar Hero 5, I just might consider grabbing up a guitar and giving the game another go.
New to the game is the Electric Honky Tonk Bar venue which gives you the chance to use any instrument controller to rock out to Ring of Fire and if you’re good enough, you can unlock the ability to sing as Johnny Cash himself.
The game will hit store shelves in September on the PS3, Wii, PS2 and Xbox …read more

Sounds interesting, no?
There are 20 different levels to dig through and the game is rated E10 + so the game is appropriate for just about anyone.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days Trailer

I’m super bummed that this isn’t coming to the PS3. That’s right. I was a HUGE fan of Kingdom Hearts when it first came out on the PS2 and I’ve been patiently waiting for it’s return to Sony but alas, it appears that isn’t going to happen.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days is slotted to hit the DS in the US in late September of this year and since I really don’t have any plans of getting a DS, I suppose I’m stuck watching trailers.
It is a rather good trailer though.

If you love soccer [football] then you’re going to LOVE the new game that Konami is releasing at the end of the year.
It’s a mulit-platform game and by multi-platform I mean that it’s coming to just about every system known to man-PS3, Xbox 360, PC-DVD, PSP, PS2 and mobile phones. Wii got left out but surely you have one of the other systems hanging out somewhere?
Highlights include intelligent AI: “Midfielders and defenders now work together to cover open space and close down attacks, meaning that cover can be provided for lower-ranked defenders”.
Crowds that react in new and different ways to …read more
Silent Hill:Shattered Memories Set for Fall

The original Silent Hill was the first Silent Hill that I ever played.
Actually, I watched my boyfriend play the scary ass game while I randomly covered my eyes and generally acted like a scared little girl. In my defense, I was only 17 or so at the time so any “scared little girl” acting was pretty accurate.
There have been numerous other Silent Hill games released for numerous systems and Konami just announced a new game to be added to the “let’s scare the crap out of Amy” group.
Silent Hill:Shattered Memories is set to hit in the Fall of ‘09 and …read more

Xbox 360 Runs Circles Around Console Competitors

After all the numbers are in it looks like Microsoft came home with the console sales prize for this past holiday season.
Official stats being published by The NPD group show that Microsoft sold 1.1 million of its boxes last month, followed by Nintendo with 604,000 Wiis, and PS3 bringing up the rear with 491,000 consoles sold.
It’s worth noting that the PS2 outsold everyone though, but I think it’s only due to limited availability and price of the newer consoles. The PS2 sold 1.4million units. That should help recover some costs for the PS3 don’t you think?
