In about 2 days and thirty minutes from the moment I’m writing this entry, the 2009 MotoGP season will kick into gear as the start flag falls over the line of the Commercialbank Grand Prix of Qatar on the track at Losail. Casey Stoner returns to the race grid this weekend at a venue he was a history of success on, he’s won the prestigious race in the Arab emirate twice before, and is probably glad to be starting the 2009 MotoGP season on a track he knows well and has won on before.

Doha, 24 March 2008 – Over the next four years, several hotel conglomerates will invest billions of dollars in a series of hotels and hospitality related developments in Qatar. The Four Seasons, Hyatt, Hilton, Intercontinental and other multinational hotel corporations are constructing new properties in Doha to meet the high demand. According to the Qatar Tourism Authority, a total of 22 new hotels will open by the summer of 2008 alone.
