<i>Quake Live</i> now accepting beta testers

Looks like Quake Live is now accepting beta program testers. All you have to do is visit the website and input your email address. However, the site warns: “entering does not guarantee participation in the beta program.”
If you haven’t heard of Quake Live, then you’re not alone. The online shooter is intended to be released as a free version of Quake III Arena. The best part about the game is that it would be launched through a web browser.

Kwari shows off game levels, dated-looking visuals

What is it about Kwari that makes me want to write?
Perhaps it’s the brilliant idea of a having to use real money to purchase ammunition. Maybe it’s the concept of earning money for every shot you land, and losing money for every bullet you take. Possibly, it’s the BigWorld technology that’s said to make development shorter.
Whatever it is, I have mixed feelings about the FPS.
