- There is a plan still in place to introduce tag titles on ECW but until new talent is added to the roster it isn’t going to happen.

- The ladder used at Wrestlemania 23 for the spot whereEdge was laying on top was intentionally weakened to make the extremely dangerous move easier.

- This week’s episode of ECW did a 1.4 cable rating, tops for Sci Fi for the day.

- I hadn’t passed this on earlier but at a house show in Paris this week Mickie James pinned Victoria in a triple threat match to claim the Women’s title only to be defeated by Melina several matches later to reclaim the title. It was the shortest reign it Women’s title history. The change was an accident after Victoria forgot to kick out but WWE remedied the situation quickly.

- WWE’s Saturday Night Main Event will be recorded May 29th in London, Ontario, Canada and will air on June 2nd.

- There are many conflicting reports on the internet surrounding Randy Orton being sent back from the European tour. Reports just surfacing today indicate he caused $30,000 in damages to a hotel room, was passed out, and/or may be released from the company. I think we will know a lot more on how severe this is tomorrow by whether he is takn off of the Backlash PPV or not.

- Super Crazy has reportedly torn his MCL during a WWE house show in Germany. From the sounds of things this injury will likely sideline him for several months or longer if it requires major surgery. (source)

- Christopher Daniels defeated Samoa Joe, A.J. Styles, and Rhino on TNA Thursday night. Next week we will see Sting against Kurt Angle with Sting’s title match up for grabs. (results)

- There are new tag champs in the WWE on SmackDown as Deuce and Domino topped Brian and Kendrick nearly 1 year after they originally won the belts. Here’s the complete results for the night:

- In other WWE news reports have surfaced that Randy Orton was sent back to the US after trashing a hotel room. No word on what repercussions this could have on next weekends Backlash PPV but it will be an interesting situation to watch. This means that Orton will not e appearing on Raw this week setting up a rare scenario where a main event wrestlers will not appear on TV the episode before the match.
