Contract Negotiation For Rondo Not Dead Yet

It was reported earlier in the week that contract negotiations between Rajon Rondo’s agent, Bill Duffy, and the Boston Celtics had stalled and were dead in the water.
Apparently, the negotiations are still afloat.
According to ESPN The Magazine, a contract extension for the lightening-quick point guard could still be reached before Saturday’s deadline.
Rajon Rondo currently makes $2 million per year playing for the Celtics, which pales in comparison to other starting point guard salaries around the NBA. Adrenaline-pumping intro music started it off. The result seemed pre-destined and scripted. Buxom ladies entertained the crowd. A meddling commissioner lurked somewhere in the background. The referees were attentive to one competitor but ignored the pleas of another. A rapid crowd cheered on its hero while an Eastern-European heel named Zaza took the brunt of their attacks. Sound like the WWE?
