The Los Angeles Angels have had no recent success against the Boston Red Sox in the postseason. This year, things were different. With a 7-6 victory, the Angels completed a three-game sweep of the Red Sox.

For the first time in nearly a quarter century, the New York Yankees have swept a four-game series with their arch rival Boston Red Sox. Using a trio of homers, the Yankees won on Sunday by a final count of 5-2.
