The feat in question? After a 60-yard pass reception, he became the second person to ever have at least 2500 yards rushing, 1500 yards in kick off returns, 1000 yards receiving, and 500 yards in punt returns. The only other person to ever reach those stats was the 2005 Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush of USC. Bush is now a player for the New Orleans Saints.

Clemson eventually lost their game to TCU 14 – 10, bringing them to a record of 2 – 2 overall and 1 – 1 in the ACC. He’s definitely someone to watch, especially if he continues at this pace. Players like him are players worth the money paid to top picks by NFL teams, but will being on a mediocre team hurt him?

Congratulations, CJ Spiller

Kim and Reggie split in July, but still remained friendly. It was a very mature breakup, with both of them wishing the other well and not spilling any details of the relationship. (And how often do we see that in Hollywood? Or in non-famous couples, for that matter?)

Just one day after Khloe Kardashian married L.A. Lakers player Lamar Odom, Kim and Reggie decided to rekindle their romance. No word on whether Reggie was at the wedding with Kim, but sources confirm that Reggie’s parents were there. So it reaffirms that Kim and Reggie were still on the best of terms.
These two dated for a couple years before splitting this summer, so my bet is that their romance is here to stay. Anyone else agree with me?

Kardashian and Bush Back Together

Turns out Kim received a couple of racy text messages from Kanye West, and Reggie found out about it. According to Fox:

“The texts referenced a night they hung out, how much fun he had, how hot Kim was, and more racy things that got Reggie’s imagination running.”

They could have just referred to a night where the two hung out together, although it does look pretty bad on Kim’s part. After he found the texts, Reggie confronted Kim about it and they realized there were several trust issues in their relationship. (Which really isn’t a surprise when you try to date long distance.)

The trust issues were enough that they felt their relationship was kaput.

Was Kanye to blame? I have my doubts on this one. How about you?

Kanye West Behind Bush/Kardashian Breakup?

The last few months there has also been a lot of speculation about whether the two would get married. Kim dropped some hints about saying yes if Reggie asked, and you know that can really put some pressure on a relationship if the guy is not really ready for that.

For some reason, I really thought they were in it for the long haul. They dated since 2007, and that’s an eternity in Hollywood. Or perhaps Tony Romo called up Reggie and said, “Hey – football season is about to start – it’s time to get serious.”

Or not.

Wonder if Jessica Simpson and Kim Kardashian will be hanging out together now that they’re single?

1. They will create adorable children.
2. The whole ceremony will be documented on a very special Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
3. Because you just know she’s gonna convince him to do a separate reality show.
4. It will continue the Kardashian tradition of marrying athletes.
5. For any non-saints fans, it may distract Reggie enough to throw him off his game.
6. Kim will have an excuse to make another sex tape.
7. It will irritate Jessica Simpson, who has yet to get a ring from Tony Romo.
8. Maybe Bruce Jenner will get drunk at the wedding and challenge Reggie Bush to a mini-decathlon.
9. Kim will pull out all the stops to top Giselle double (shotgun) wedding to Tom Brady.

10 Reasons Kim & Reggie Bush Should Marry

According to Yahoo! Sports, Tim Floyd paid a man named Rodney Guillory,who helped deliver O.J. Mayo to the Trojans program.

Tim Floyd is under investigation for reportedly paying someone to bring O.J. Mayo to USC.

This information was given by a former friend of Mayo’s, Louis Johnson, who told NCAA officials (as well as the FBI, IRS and U.S. Attorney’s Office) that Floyd gave at least $1,000 in cash to Guillory so that he could continue to ply Mayo with star treatment and numerous gifts.

Didn’t USC learn anything from the Reggie Bush scandal? The college is already under a three-year investigation for violating NCAA regulations in both the football and men’s basketball programs.

But beyond all of that, I have one important question.  Was O.J. Mayo even worth it?

USC’s Tim Floyd Bought Mayo

In case you’re wondering if Ms. K. will ever marry her beau Reggie Bush, I can tell you she certainly is giving him one hint upon another these days. She has even emailed him photos of the kind of engagement ring she would like, and went so far as to go ring shopping with a few pals. And get this, she’s even using some reverse psychology on Mr. New Orleans Saints. She said, “I definitely scared him and told him it was probably way more expensive than it is, just so that when he goes he feels like he’s getting a good deal.”

That’s brilliant! Now, if Reggie reads this column he’ll know what’s up. (Something tells me he does anyway.)

Kim Kardashian’s Reverse Psychology Trip on Reggie Bush

Getting? Like some of them haven’t already? (I’m talking to you, Bruce!)

Kim told reporters at an event Sunday night at the Hard Rock Hotel that, “I can’t tell you who, but someone in my family will look totally different and viewers will see it all on the show very soon.”

Hmmm…. my blogger’s mind wanders with the possibilities. Let’s hope it’s not Kim’s boyfriend Reggie Bush. He looks pretty darn good as it is.

Plastic Surgery for a Kardashian

For those of you that have been living under a rock, Lake is the supposed sports manager suing Reggie Bush for a breach of contract.  He claims that he bought the USC star a car and other gifts (a blatant breaking of NCAA rules) while he was still in college in exchange for a promise to become the running back’s manager. When Bush chose another manager and Lake’s company effectively shut down, he decided to bring this shady deal to light. Of course, Bush’s camp is denying the whole thing every happened.

Bush has long criticized Lake for “trash talking” to the media but failing to show up in court or deal with his lawyers.  Looks like he’s right.

Why did Lake walk out of the courthouse? Are you sitting down?

He was intimidated by Bush’s legal team having private security present.

Stay sitting. Bush’s lawyers responded by saying that Lake has threatened them in the past and that his lawyer, Brian Watkins, told them that Lake was a gang member who needs to be paid off or else he can’t promise that he’ll be able to control his client.

I’m sorry, did we just walk onto the set of a rap video? Maybe Biggie Smalls should have played football.
