Release date for Far Cry 2 revealed, causes purchasing headaches
This year’s holiday season is beginning to look like last year’s, especially for the FPS genre. Last year, there was an influx of marquee shooters such as The Orange Box (which contained several high-quality games), Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Bioshock, Crysis, and Unreal Tournament 3.
Far Cry 2 will be joining this year’s batch of top-tier games as it lands on store shelves this October 21 in North America and October 24 in Europe. The Ubisoft shooter will have versions for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Other high-profile games coming out in the …read more
Capcom sheds light on Resident Evil 5 release date
Remember the thrill you felt when you first heard about Resident Evil 5? At that time, GameCube owners were the only people enjoying Resident Evil 4, though the promise of a PlayStation 2 version was imminent. RE4 was critically acclaimed and with good reason; it was a reimagining of the franchise that had relied too long on annoying camera angles.

“Right now we’re very close to a release candidate, and we should have it finished by the end of this week. Then we send it off and it’s just a matter of what happens from there.”
Dementium to scare pants off this Halloween

Escaping decrepit hospitals has always been one of my life goals.
To many, the impending release date may be good news. After all, it’s always nice to hear when a game is shipping, and said date is reasonably close. But when release dates coincide, things start to get a little nasty.
