“Reno 911” Has Been Canceled

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Comedy Central has pulled the plug on their mockumentary Reno 911! I have to say that it’s lasted a lot longer than I ever expected. Co-creator/star, Thomas Lennon, announced the cancellation via Twitter since the network hadn’t released an official statement. How classy.
I don’t know if this makes me a jerk (since I recently reviewed the sixth season and found it someone funny) but I’m not crying in my soup over this one. Besides, it’s time for Lennon to move on and cultivate his acting career since I thought he definitely stood out in 17 …read more
On DVD: Reno 911! The Complete Sixth Season

The complete sixth season of Reno 911! is now available in a two-disc DVD set. I was sent a copy last week to review and I can tell you that it’s 330 minutes of sheer silliness and moments of disbelief. I found myself laughing at things and then saying “did I really see that?”
The show is absolutely ridiculous, politically incorrect, crass and, most of all, funny. You won’t like this if you are easily offended or sensitive to jokes about any of the following subject matter – racism, sexual orientation, drug and alcohol abuse and/or rape.
