Upon finishing an interview with a Fox News correspondent, former presidential candidate, the Reverend Jesse Jackson (Sr.) was heard (via a still “hot” microphone) saying less than complimentary remarks about Senator Barack Obama’s recent interactions with the African American community.
After learning that the comments had been heard, Reverend Jackson contacted the Obama Campaign to apologize, and on Wednesday, made a formal apology on CNN’s Situation Room. Coincidentally, Fox News was, reportedly, poised to air the recording later on Wednesday.
