Xobni Becomes more Useful

Xobni, the useful little Outlook plugin that makes finding emails and information so much easier, is extending the services into other data sources and social networks. Now, when you look at the history for one person, you can now see any emails you’ve exchanged with that person on Yahoo Mail and also lets you connect with them on Skype.
Now, in addition to providing LinkedIn information, Xobni will now poke through Facebook and show you information about a user, like their recent status message and picture.

During the Office 2.0 Conference 200, ZoooS LLC introduced a web-based office suite which tries to put OpenOffice.org 3.0 in the web. ZoooS Office comprises of different tools similar to that of OpenOffice.org 3.0. These includes ZoooS Write, ZoooS Spreadsheet, ZoooS Presentation, ZoooS Draw, and the ZoooS database. The latest update with Zoho Suite is trying to defeat Google Docs, the Zoho Docs.
Introduced during the Office 2.0 Conference recently, Zoho Docs now allows users manage Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations created using their tools. Now, it can be stored and manage in a central place insid ethe Zoho Docs environment. I am enrolled to a Mandarin class this semester at school and learning Mandarin Chinese is really difficult, especially when you don’t have any background about the language. Like me, I really find it hard at the first few meetings. The instructor told us that we will begin the lesson learning the basic pronunciation and later learn some Kanji.

Recently, eXpresso by eXpresso Corp., released a newer version of their Microsoft Excel Offline Plugin tool. With this Excel Adds-in, you can now access your online spreadsheets and edit it directly toy your Microsoft Excel environment. Still, it allows you to sync, share and collaborate with your colleagues.
Spreadsheets opened “off-line” in Excel® are locked for editing by other users. Once the spreadsheet owner has saved any changes made back to eXpresso and closes the spreadsheet, the lock is released.

Google Docs comes with Template

Yeah! Google Docs now comes with templates where you can choose from to work with your documents. Whether be it document, presentation and spreadsheets, they all got it for you. You don’t have to worry anymore for the layout and format when creating this document, just visit Google Docs Templates and click “Use this Template” button. Also, access the template via the “New” button from the Google Docs menu.

So, I gave the new template a try. Here’s a demo using the template.
