The beginning of a new week and we have some cool things going on this week in MMA. Wednesday night you have Ultimate Fight Night 18, followed by the premiere of The Ultimate Fighter Season 9: U.S. Vs. U.K.. n the meantime, here are some things that you may have missed

Roger Huerta Wants To Act…So What?

Since Roger Huerta made an announcement not so long ago that he did not re-sign with the UFC and wants to pursue opportunities in acting and possibly modeling, he’s come under fire from a lot of people in the MMA community.
Huerta stated that he was given an opportunity to act in the Tekken movie and was offered more opportunities by Lionsgate Films. Co-Main Event Fight At UFC 91 To Be A Lightweight No. 1 Contender Fight

 
UFC has announced the the welterweight co-main event fight between Kenny Florian and Joe Stevenson at UFC 91 will be for the No. 1 contender fight foe BJ Penn’s lightweight championship.
The winner of the fight will be guaranteed a shot at Penn’s title after the Penn Vs. St Pierre welterweight championship fight at UFC 94.
