D-Link Makes Lots of Money

Things are rebounding in the computer industry as I have previously reported in revenue surges from Intel, Asus, Dell, HP, etc. Not only are computer manufacturers getting good revenue scores but even Taiwan based network solutions, D-Link has seen their revenues climbed up to $ 80.43 millions dollars in August. The first eight months in 2009 has seen a 16% decrease from their 2008 revenue numbers.
The August 2009 revenues is 7.8 % higher compared to the August 2008 numbers. D-Link is expecting that their numbers would continue to climb for the rest of the 2009 year. According to …read more
Persistent Connection to Network Drives

Time to throw a question out there to everyone.
In my full-time job my business partner and I show up everywhere with our laptops and work onsite for clients. He has a folder on his laptop shared out, which I have mapped to a drive on my laptop.
Everything works fine when we’re connected together to the switch. I can access the shared folder and he can access the folder as well.
