You can do this with Goggle using Google News Alert. I have and I still am doing it. My impression on FeedMySearch is that it does the following:

1. Makes the rss feed creation via search more easily done.
2. It allows the info-punter to specify the search in terms of format or type of information.
3. Cuts down the step to getting an RSS feed.

It makes life simpler. And this makes RSS feeds more available to all.

According to the press release, the iPhone’s RSS Reader is easy to use.

The application is extremely easy-to-use and features a simple, clear user interface that complements the iPhone and iPod touch experience. NetNewsWire for iPhone makes it easy for users to cycle through all their news by using the “Next Unread” button, which goes from story to story with a quick tap of a single button. Users can also save items to read or blog about later via clipping, and saved items also sync with the desktop and browser-based RSS readers.[Source]

Apparently the application was developed to be in sync with the iPhone’s intuitive sense of use experience. NetNewsWire Creator and Developer Brent Simmons implied as much and said that the “popularity of the iPhone and iPod touch makes it the perfect platform to create an outstanding mobile application that can become a part of people’s everyday experience. [Source]”

NetNewsWire for iPhone is free and available at Apple’s App Store (on iPhone and iPod touch) and here.

Of course one can also visit their website to read the feeds but this feature seems to distract it from its main service. It delivers updates via IM and that is important. And this can be particularly useful for managing feeds.

Why?

No need to go back and forth to the feed reader to check if a particular feed has a new post.

In my opinion, this would be useful in checking those high priority RSS feeds and not the whole kaboodle, if you get my drift. Unless of course the number of RSS feeds you subscribe to is just below the voting age: If you do not have much RSS feeds then you can also use it for such things.

1. Pick a style and a name for your display
One can choose from vertical, vertical stacked and horizontal display. The name for the display is up to you: One can name it my other blogs or those that cannot be mentioned but are here. It is for the punter to choose.

2. Type in a feed expression

Feed expressions could be tags, categories or more specific name of your blog. The search will generate or find the RSS feed for that particular expression. And you are good to go … unless you want to be more specific and you can do this by changing the feed expression you place.

3. Generate Code

Satisfied with the content and look of your display. Generate the code and paste it on your website.

You can tweak with the settings for the display. Maybe its the only thing I will say about Dynamic Feed Control is one needs to have the dimensions of the display customizable as well.

And its a good thing because the good features/service comes out faster. As the rivals try to out do or one up the other us consumers will reap the benefits.
