Rules and Bylaws Committe holds hearing

The Demoratic National Committee’s Rules and Bylaws Committee is holding a hearing today to consider testimony from leading party members on what to do about the Florida and Michigan delegations.
The 30 member committee is made up of senior party members, with a wide range of experience and loyalties. 13 of the 30 are Clinton supporters, while 8 are Obama suppoerts, the remaining members consider themselves uncommitted.
Florida democrats went first – they were rather united in their proposals – basically, that the Florida delegates would be seated but each would have only a 1/2 vote toward their state’s nomination votes. …read more
