In other words, a tad more annoying than usual. Rumors have flown that her dad and manager, Joe Simpson, has had with her unprofessionalism and blames Jess’ man Tony Romo. (Well, Tony’s fans hate Jess, so I guess it was about time someone reversed it.)

One source claims that Joe “feels that Tony has become too much of a distraction.” Keep in mind that Joe helped orchestrate the romance between Jess and Tony (much like he has every other aspect of her life.)

Well now Joe has taken to Twitter (the site of choice to dispute rumors these days) to tell the world it’s not true, and he hearts Tony as much as his tone deaf daughter does. Joe says, “So tired of people saying I don’t like jess and tony… He is the best.”

Oh those 49ers! First we hold our breath thinking Kurt Warner might end up there (or maybe I was the only one holding my breath), and now there’s a rumor that Terrell Owens could go back there.

AGAIN.

At least, that’s the public stance. The private one, according to ProFootballTalk.com was that they have “zero interest” in bringing T.O. back.

It’s kinda like breaking up with someone who treated you like crap and then saying years later that you wish them nothing but happiness.

Looks like Carrie Underwood is trolling the sports world yet again for a new boyfriend.

Underwood has been seen lately with Ottawa Senators Mike Fisher and was at his game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday. And yeah…. they LOST.

I have to wonder what Tony Romo thinks of Carrie getting back into the “dating an athlete” world. After all, he’s been rumored to have called her on and off the entire time he’s been dating Jessica. (The scoundrel!) One thing is for sure, Jessica Simpson has to be VERY happy over the fact that Carrie finally has another guy to focus on.

Alex Rodriguez was apparently trying to make sure everybody who was anybody could see him drive around Miami recently.

According to the New York Post’s Page Six, he drove around in a Mercedes with a license plate reading, “ALEX RODRIGUEZ.”

Just in case you weren’t 100% sure it was him courting the beautiful and charming Madonna.

My question is: Does ALEX RODRIGUEZ even fit on a license plate?

A-Rod Wants to Make Sure You Know It’s Him in the Car

At last! He speaks! Alex Rodriguez is commenting on his “friendship” with Madonna, telling People that they are just friends.

I wonder how Madonna feels about him talking about their friendship? Anywho, he also addresses the rumor that they’ve been flying around the country together, saying, “I can tell you this, I have never been on a plane with her.”

Still, they did spend time together in cities all over the country, whether they flew together or not. Methinks I need a bit more convincing before I’ll believe they aren’t an item.

A-Rod Says: Madonna and I Are Just Pals

Apparently Madonna and Alex Rodriguez made their relationship “official” Wednesday night at her concert. He handed her a bottle of water after she sang her second song.

My first thought was: she needed water already after singing only one song?

I guess so. And A-Rod was just the guy to give it to her. The water that is.

Anywho, one source said, “that one thoughtful, loving gesture was the very public admission of their long-rumored love affair, made just a week after her quickie divorce from Guy Ritchie.”

They landed in Miami on Monday and then met up with Madonna’s friend Ingrid Casares, who introduced the two. Perhaps they thanked her for the set up?

It’s Official: A-Rod and Madonna Are a Thang

You know you have a problem when your own fans cheer for someone that has nothing to do with your team. That’s what happened over the weekend with the Cleveland Browns fans, who chanted “Cowher, Cowher” during the game.

“Cowher” as in former Steelers coach Bill Cowher.

The Browns deny talking to Cowher about a coaching job. Perhaps their fans know something the rest of us don’t?
