Okay, that trailer was freaking awesome. If you’ve seen the Girls Gone Wild commercials that they show late at night here in the US, you’ll definitely know where they got the idea for this video. GENIUS!

The next episode is going to be out on January 11th, 2008. I guess a Hawaiian adventure is perfect for all the people who are getting snowed in this holiday season. Maybe it’ll warm their cold little hearts.

Sam and Max Give Aways!

According to this article over at The International House of Mojo, the Sam and Max cartoon series that will be coming out on DVD is ready for mass production! Good jorb Shout Factory! You’ve made us proud!

That’s right! The art work is done… the master DVD thingie that they make lots of other DVDs from is all done. Sam and Max are dancing on stripper poles to get the people making the DVDs to work faster. It sounds like everything is falling into place really.

And there is even some bonus material that we’ll be getting with the final DVD shipment. Check it out:

• Sam & Max: Our Bewildering Universe – a short cartoon with Sam and Max… and our bewildering universe.
• Steve Purcell interview from Comic-Con.
• A couple guys over at TellTale talking about the founding of TellTale and how awesome it is.

Sam and Max Cartoon Gettin’ Produced

Okay, so if you live anywhere close to San Rafael, California (it’s close to San Francisco for all those people living near San Francisco, but have never heard of San Rafael), then there may just be a chance of a life time knocking at your door. That’s right, you can quite possibly be a game tester for a day? Isn’t that what you’ve always dreamed of? Trying to find bugs in video games and eating potato chips while drinking Mountain Dew? Wouldn’t that be sweet assed?

Well, on Saturday, December 9th, TellTale Games will give you the opportunity to maybe test Episode 3 of Season 2 of Sam and Max. You can hang out with some cool TellTale people and get drunk, too! Okay, I doubt there will be any booze there, but you can always hide a flask in your jacket and take a swig from it every time you go to the bathroom. If you’re disappointed about not having booze, they will make it up by feeding you pizza!

Be a Game Tester for a Day

According to this review over at Adventure Gamers, there’s a lot to look forward to for the first episode of this season.

Here are some good things the reviewer had to say about the game:

Improves on nearly every element from the best of last season; dialogue is sharp and crisp and very funny; game plays a bit longer than most of Season One and is definitely more challenging.

Excellent. We wouldn’t want the writing and the witiness of a brand new season to suffer, would we? And longer episodes? Now, that’s even more exciting than having my moles lasered off. Seriously! Way more exciting!

Sam and Max Episode 201 Adventure Gamer Review

Damn those station producers.

So, it was awesome when I heard that Shout! Factory, a company that tries to put your geekish tv shows onto DVDs, got the go ahead to put Sam and Max cartoon season 1 on DVD. And they finally got some cover art. Check it out:

With this DVD release of the Sam and Max cartoon series, all of my dreams have finally come true. Except the one where I sleep on a giant cloud. That one might not be quite so obtainable.
